Well, that’s exactly what the footwear experts have done here, enlisting the help of designer Nicole Mclaughlin to add some DIY aesthetics to the pair. A combination of previous Mafate 2 and 3 designs, this fresh iteration of the sneaker itself features a handy quick-lace system and Vibram sole unit. Meanwhile, Mclaughlin adds a gaiter – transforming the look from a low to a high-top – while a vibrant neon red, green and yellow palette punctuates the textile uppers and Vibram outsole.
