Taking you on a journey through the Big Apple’s transportation history, New York City Transit Authority Objects is a colourful archive of travel memorabilia. Starting in 2011, New York photographer Brian Kelley documented collections of used MetroCards. Searching the city high and low, he has now discovered tokens from patches, timetables and pins to signs and matchbooks, telling the story of the iconic city and its transport evolution.
